The Scene is Getting Old, Man

Posted on April 22, 2008

I know, I know.  We've kind of been out of action these past few days. Take it from us: threesomes are usually things of joy (and myth), but birthday hangovers, illness, and allergies do not a sexy combo make.  But, we've found our groove and we're employing it again.

So, I figured I'd break the silence with info on a special deal being presented by the BAM Cinema Club. Advanced tickets are on sale now for Cinema Club members who want to scope the previously mentioned Sundance Institute showcase this May and June. Tickets go on sale to the general public April 26.

From the BAM newsletter:

This year's series includes 10 dramatic features, 12 documentaries, and 36 shorts from some of filmmaking's most exciting new voices, as well as musical performances, a screenplay reading, and other special events. Members are also invited to join 2007-2008 BAM Cinema Club Chairs Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard at the opening night screening of American Teen and the Prom Party afterwards for free (subject to availability).

For info on how to score the early bird special this time around, go and join. If you're a member already, you probably already know about this, but you can still see the lineup of films here.
