A Lesson in Paraphrasing

Posted on April 17, 2008

The saying these days is that Will Carlough is a very funny guy who makes very funny films. He's a member of the Redheaded League (another proprieter of said funniness), but on the side he makes a series of short films called Paraphrase Theater where he parodies film scenes in his own, relaxed style. He's got a bunch on the site including Star Wars, which has the truest Princess Leia interpretation ever. So check them out and be merry.

For a taste, check out the episode posted below. I thought at great length and firmness on which clip to include in this post, but I ultimately went with Will's version of Tommy (just "X" the annoying ads).

Bonus points for the Wizard reference in the end. Oh, how I miss my 80s video games.

That video just says, "See Me." Also "Feel Me," "Touch Me," "Heal Me," but I've had more trouble with the latter set.
