Try A New Position

Every week the New Filmmakers series takes place at the Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Ave) and showcases great flicks by, who else, new filmmakers. They have short films, documentaries, and feature lengths. If you're looking to discover new talent and see a gaggle of different independent visuals, then truck yo'self over to the Anthology on any given Wednesday night for the said varying batch of up-and-coming filmmakers and their work.

They are currently accepting submissions for their fall schedule this year, which means that you must get your film(s) there now if you want to be a part of their lineup anytime soon. Check their site for details on how to get your name out there amongst the glitteratti (you know, those who glitter).

This week they are presenting "Double Your Pleasure" films about twins. Looks pretty interesting...
