Gen Art Confidential

Posted on March 25, 2008

The Gen Art festival, which is held annually of course, is one of the more prominent festivals in the "upper tier" indie scene (that's what I call the ones that are accessible, but still feature celebrities and other privileged filmmakers).  It is a good one, though, and it's worth a snooping if you want to taste the culture and ultraviolet lasers.  The organization also features emerging artists in the fashion, music, and general art worlds as well, so if it's a liberal thing you're after, Gen Art suits you well.

It's taking place this year on April 2 through the 8th so it appears to be right around the corner.  Tickets and schedules are available through their website.  I'll be there...with shining bells on, too.

And, coming soon to New Roots...a film festival event page...stay tuned villians.
