Rumblings Afoot

Posted on March 10, 2008

The New York Underground Film Festival has updated its site for the new fest that is taking place in April. This particular festival is aimed directly at the audience the New Roots Project is setting its sights on, so I will be bringing you up-to-date details about it, as well as coverage when the show goes on.

This, unfortunately, will be the final installment of the festival. It lasted a good fifteen years so the organizers had a good run while the New York indie staple lasted.

Although there aren't many developments to report on yet, for those curious about the types of films that are usually shown at this gala, just go to the IFC Center on Sixth Avenue (323) throughout March to see 2007's selections. Details are on the NYUFF website. The "Wild Night" is calling.
