About Us
The New Roots Project was founded in 2008 to serve as a resource for up-and-coming New York City artists in the fields of independent film, theatre, and comedy. The New Roots Project blog covers events and performances related to each of these mediums and will be a tireless advocate for their ongoing viability.

- Sam Dingman
- Sam is an actor and a writer. He graduated from Swarthmore College in 2004 with an Honors BA in Theatre Studies and an Honors Minor in Film and Media Studies. In addition to his writings at New Roots, he is also a co-founder and writer at Audience of Two.
- Dan Angeloro
- Dan is a multi-medium creative writer. He graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2007 with a BS in Mass Media production and film studies. Along with New Roots, music promotion and film journalism have also occupied his time in his first post-college year.
